DVD players
What if my loved one doesn't have a DVD player?
-Basic DVD players can be purchased at most major department stores. These basic players range in price from $25-$40. Carpe Multimedia, LLC will source a basic DVD player at the request of the family for $40.
How will my 80-year-old mother be expected to know how to operate a DVD player?
-Part of the purpose of creating these tools is to give the caregiver a chance to partner with the family in the process of understand who your loved one is as a person. Your loved one's caregiver will simply need to turn the TV to channel 3, turn on the player, and press play.
Carpe Multimedia will ensure that the player gets installed correctly and proper instruction is given to the care staff on use.
|
*Note: Any therapeutic intervention will be developed in partnership with a qualified physician. A full understanding of your loved one's needs requires a full understanding of their situation. Involving professional caregivers in the process allows these tools to best address the specific cognitive, emotional, and physical needs of your loved one. |
